EMC generally stands for Electro-magnetic compatibility. All instruments used in an industrial environment have to withstand numerous forms of disturbances/noise not just EMI or RFI, but also ground loop currents, lightning effects etc. The seminar would discuss electrical disturbances that could impact process measurement, their causes and potential solutions. Also discussed would the type of testing instrument manufacturers need to do to ensure compliance.
